Project Bored: Day 9 ~ New Tea Setting

I have just bought new tea cups, saucers, vase, and bowl. Then couple weeks ago, I got this lotus leaf and had it pressed for about 3 weeks now. Since I am bored, I might as well set this new setting before the leaf gone bad :)

Project Bored: Day 8 ~ Camaro in Dining Room

Garage inside the dining area of a restaurant! Wow! I guess this can only be achieved in area where land price is still cheap :P

The kids were exited to see such display while eating their lunch. This restaurant also have two small toy cars for the kids to play. So, the kids were just hyper.

Project Bored: Day 5 ~ House in ZhuDong

My husband and I have been wondering about this so called 'Eco Town' since we moved to ZhuDong. So, today I went to find out.
Apprently, it's an apartment. They are still builiding it. They called it 'Eco' because the apartment supposedly have this big pond where the water are from surrounding farm land. .........
You want more reasons for being called 'Eco'? Sorry, there are no more reasons. Yeah I know what you are thinking. LAME.

Project Bored: Day 4 ~ Long Wait :(

Seeing the Chinese Doctor is a way to train one's patience. Why so? Here is why:
1. At 8.30 am, you called and received about, oh let's say, 150 busy responses. Then the nurse said "the phone appointments are fully booked"
2. At around 1 pm, you started to wait in the closed clinic which opened and received appointment at 2 pm. Why? Because if you came at 2 pm, you WILL be at the very back of the line.
3. At 2 pm, the counter opened. Now, you had to wait for the line to move.
4. At 2.30 pm, the doctor will start seeing patients. If you were lucky, the other patients didn't ask a lot of questions and it would be soon your turn. If the patients asked tons of questions, then good luck, it might be sunset when the doctor was ready for you.
So as you can see, seeing this Chinese Doctor is a one whole day event.
It's number 19 now. Mine is 35. So it will be another 2 - 3 hours of patience training.

Does it really making sense to eat hotpot in Summer? It's blazing hot and yet people still are queuing for hotpot!

Project Bored:Day 2 ~ Oriental Beauty

Tea class today was messy. However, we got to drink good Oriental Beauty.

Furthermore, these tea cups and teapot were just too pretty to miss. Those butterflies were handpainted and the cups were very thin.

Project Bored: Day 1 ~ Hideous Mosquitoes!!!!!

Summer is officially here for a month or so. As with Summer in Taiwan, the hideous mosquitoes are my archenemy. They totally sucked my blood out, left me itchy for weeks, and left scars on my body for months.
 
Insect repellent lotions or sprays are my only defense towards those annoying bugs.

I am bored. Maybe I should start a new project. I think I should take and post one picture per day for a month. Let's start now.

Chinese Caligraphy

Practicing Chinese calligraphy as a beginner really need patience. I lost it already. Maybe I should meditate first. Haih.

It's cold today. It has been raining the whole day. Gloomy, rain, cold.... Totally not my preferred day. If I were not at home, I would be extremely moody. Good that I didn't plan anything outdoor today. I have been painting and doing house chores the whole day. So overall it's been a good day.
